Then we book your COMPLIMENTARY engagement session to get to know each other better! These are about 1-hour sessions and are meant to get to know each other and get a few rad photos of y'all being cute and having fun. I love to do them at your home/neighborhood and do something you like to do! Of course, if I am traveling for your wedding (or you are!) that's not always possible but we always make something work! This helps you feel more comfortable on your wedding day and able to be present and in the moment
Then we chat about your wedding details about 2 months before the party. This includes grabbing a full family formal list so you don't have to worry about missing any of those shots and we chat about how the day will go so I can better prep to capture all the things as they happen!
Then it's your wedding day. You Don't have to worry about a thing because we have talked over everything and you know I'm gonna get all the shots. PARTY PARTY PARTY.

After your wedding, I make things easy. A preview comes within 48 hours with the exact DATE AND TIME you will get your final images. Forget all that ambiguous "your wedding will be delivered in 6-12 weeks." I tell you the EXACT DAY so you can get just as excited as I do about having these images for the rest of your life!
You love your images, put them everywhere, and
THEN LEAVE A REVIEW AND HIRE ME FOR YOUR NEXT BIG THING!

Keeping it simple! I don't like hidden fees, and you shouldn't either! When you inquire, I want to make sure you don't have sticker shock! All weddings include a web-gallery with access to download your photos.

Questions & Answers
Where are you located?
I'm based in Grand Haven, MI but travel all over the world. I leave room in my schedule for limited projects outside of Michigan or Chicago, IL. Travel to the upper peninsula or outside of Michigan requires accommodations and transport costs to be covered. Fees are based on location and I keep my passport current!
Do you take formal photos?
I love to keep things very organic and candid but I think that capturing your family portraits and details to be important aspects of a candid day! I try to be efficient so we are not taking a ton of time from your day for these meticulously styled portraits. If that's all you want from your wedding day I may not be the photographer for you but would be happy to recommend someone who might be a better fit!
How long have you been shooting weddings?
It's been just over 10 years photographing weddings professionally! I picked up a camera after grad school and never stopped. I realized rather quickly that I LOVE photographing love stories and weddings more than any other type of photography! I have photographed over 350 weddings in both primary, associate and second shooting gigs! I LOVE WEDDINGS!!!
Do you have insurance?
Yes! Of course. If your venue requests a certificate of insurance, just let me know!
do you work alone or with someone else?
All of my packages include me as the photographer. Despite what every single blog tells you, you do not NEED two photographers. I prefer to shoot solo but occasionaly the logistics of the day may call for a second photographer. I am here to help you determine if a second photographer is right for you.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
It's super easy fill out my contact for and we will setup a phone or video call! If you decide you want to work with me a retainer and contract are required to hold your date. Bookings are taken on a first come, first serve basis.
DO YOU USE AI?
I am proud to say that I do not use any AI in the creation of your wedding images. I truly think wedding photography and documentary style photography requires human input all along the way and don't utilize any "AI tools" to edit or handle your wedding images.
